| Established over 20 years ago as a
family run business, Cotswold Homemade Meringues continue
to supply the high class grocers, farmshops, hotels and caterers throughout
the Cotswolds and continue to expand into different parts of the country.
Treated at first as a hobby, Muriel Morrissey developed her own original
recipe with only eggs and sugar being used with no additives whatsoever.
This successful recipe is still being used, forming the basis of many
different shapes and sizes of meringues today. The company is now run
by daughters Lisa and Jan. |

The
meringues are marketed in London and the South East by their
son-in-law Paul Hargreaves.
In June of 1997 the company moved for the third time to much larger premisies in order to
be able to meet with increased demand for their meringues. They feel this move will enable
them to cover more outlets country wide and Scotland. The move will also allow them to
experiment with producing further high quality products in the future. |
